Congress Will Participate In Karnali Province Government

Apr 15, Kathmandu: Nepali Congress is going to participate in the government of Karnali province.

According to Jeevan Bahadur Shahi, the leader of the Karnali Province Congress Parliamentary Party, the Congress will appoint two MPs as ministers in the currently vacant Ministry of Social Development and Ministry of Energy and Water Resources.

According to the information given by Neta Shahi, Yajnahadur BC from Surkhet will be made a minister in the Ministry of Social Development, and Dinbandhu Shrestha from Jumla will be made a minister in Energy and Water Resources.

Leader Shahi informed that two Congress MPs will be appointed as ministers today, but the oath will be taken only tomorrow. Almost two months after the vote of confidence was given to Mahendra Bahadur Shahi, who was the Chief Minister of the Maoist Center, the Congress is about to participate in the government.
