May 18, Kathmandu- One person has died in a motorcycle accident in Butwal.

The deceased is 44-year-old Sridhar Pokharel, a native of Pyuthan and a resident of Butwal sub-metropolitan city-13 Jit Gadhi. Last night, Pokharel, who was coming to Belbas from Butwal's Nayagaon on a motorcycle bearing No. 63 P 8185, met with an accident at Pakhapani.

He was found seriously injured and was rescued by the police and taken to the hospital, but the doctor declared him dead. According to the Nepal Police Highway Safety and Traffic Management Office, Butwal, it is suspected that the motorcycle coming from the west may have overturned on the opposite side of the road and may have caused an accident.

According to the police, the incident is being investigated on the basis of the CCTV footage kept on the side of the road.
