Jun 2, Kathmandu- Bollywood actor Salman Khan's son-in-law Aayush Sharma has clarified that he did not marry Salman Khan's sister Arpita for money and fame.

Ayush has said that he married Arpita because he loves her. Ayush said that he was saddened by the comment that he was linked with Salman Khan to become an actor. Aayush has also refuted all the rumors that he received an expensive gift from Salman after the wedding.

Ayush has also talked about his wife Arpita. He said, "Arpita is a brave woman. It is a privilege to have her as a friend. So there is no problem in accepting him. Since she comes from a film background, she has seen it all. So I'm not too worried about trolling. I loved her, that's why I married him".

Arpita and Aayush got married on 18 November 2014. Arpita is Salim Khan's adopted daughter. After Salim Khan married Helen for the second time, she came into the Khan family. Helen and Salim Khan had no children, so they adopted Arpita. Since then she is a member of the Khan family.

Everyone in the Khan family loves her very much. Especially Salman loves her a lot. He has also named Salman's famous Panvel farm house after Arpita.
