Jun 05, Kathmandu- Dol Prasad Aryal, former Minister of Parliament and Labor of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has said that the revenue target set in the budget presented for the next fiscal year is unique and surprising.

On Monday, in the meeting of the House of Representatives, while participating in the discussion on the budget for the next financial year 2080/081, Aryal said that he was surprised how the targets of most of the revenue sources are the same.

Out of 119 sources of revenue, except for 21, how is the growth rate of 98 sources the same? This learned finance minister will answer later. It seems that the revenue collection target will not be met in the current fiscal year," he said. "On the one hand, it will create pressure on the financial policy, so where will the projected revenue take the country? A serious question has been raised".

Aryal also said that it is mandatory to revise the budget accordingly.
