Bharatpur Metropolis Brought A Budget Of 6 Billion 310 Million

Jun 25, Kathmandu- Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality of Chitwan has submitted a budget of 6 billion 317 million 990 thousand rupees for the next financial year 2080/81.

The source of the budget presented by Chitra Sen Adhikari, the deputy head of the metropolis, is 1 billion 750 million internal income, 1 billion 839 million 975 thousand in grants from the federal government, 548 million 15 thousand from revenue, 500 million from public participation, 1 billion 650 million in bank balance, 30 million from road board Nepal.

It is projected to be estimated at 1 billion 100 million under the title of intergovernmental authority. The metropolis has allocated a budget of 1.65 billion for the timely completion of the projects that could not be completed in the current financial year and are yet to be paid for, and those that have serial and multi-year contracts.

For the 29 wards of Bharatpur Mahanagar, an amount of 79 million 750 thousand has been proposed for allocation at the rate of 27 million 500 thousand to each ward.

Bharatpur, which has given its main slogan as 'the beautiful city of central Nepal, the prosperous and cultured Bharatpur metropolis', is determined to directly benefit the citizens of the city by maintaining good governance through health, education, employment, agricultural production, drinking water, sustainable infrastructure development and effective service delivery, according to the Metropolitan Municipality.
