Sep 04, Kathmandu- Nepal Rastra Bank has called for the sale of treasury bills worth 2 arab 4 crore rupees. The National Bank has called for the resale of treasury bills that have expired. In the notification, it is mentioned to pay the treasury bill worth 2 arab 4 crore 50 lakh rupees.
According to this, 28 days of 5 billion rupees, 91 days of 6.45 million rupees, 182 days of 70 million rupees and 364 days of treasury bills equal to 2 billion rupees have been requested. The National Bank has requested to discuss the Treasury bill on Monday (Bhadra 18) till 3 pm. Treasury bills will be issued (distributed) on Tuesday.
A weighted average interest rate of 6.20 percent has been fixed in the last talk. Banks and financial institutions quoted the highest interest rate of 6.49 percent and the lowest at 4.82 percent. Rastra Bank is re-selling Treasury Bills that have reached their maturity period out of the internal debt collection. At the same time, the government has paid the money of some treasury bills and some have been resold.
