Sep 14, Kathmandu- Pakistani bowler Naseem Shah has been ruled out of the Asia Cup-2023 due to injury. The ICC on Wednesday quoted the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as saying that Naseem will miss the rest of the Asia Cup due to injury.

Saha sustained an injury to his right shoulder while competing against India in the Asia Cup Super Four match on Monday. Naseem took seven wickets while playing four matches in the tournament.

After Naseem will miss the remaining matches of the tournament, Pakistan has called Zaman Khan in his place. Zaman, who has played for the Pakistan team in T20 cricket, has taken four wickets in six matches.

According to PCB, the condition of another pacer Haris Rauf, who was injured along with Nasim against India, is improving.

In the tournament, Pakistan is playing under pressure to win against Sri Lanka on Thursday. The pressure is on both teams to win today to maintain their chances of entering the finals of the competition.
