Sep 14, Kathmandu- The police have arrested four people on the charge of assaulting the doctor of Sancho Hospital in Hetaunda.

According to Makwanpur District Police Office Spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police Laxmi Bhandari, those arrested are Anup Pradhan, Rohit Pradhan, Rama Pradhan, and Ramita Pradhan.

Doctors of Sancho Hospital Dr. Bikash Thapa and Prashant Bidari were beaten up on Wednesday regarding the death of 41-year-old Rajesh Pradhan, who was referred to the same hospital after receiving initial treatment, on Shrawan 25 in Chitwan.

The doctors had warned of a phased movement in protest against the beating of the doctors on duty inside the hospital.

The police have arrested four people involved in the assault and said that the necessary investigation process has been started. According to District Police Office Makwanpur, four members of the deceased Pradhan's family have been arrested.
