Sep 17, Kathmandu- Police action has started in the case of a student being beaten up in the school. An office assistant was arrested on the charge of beating up a student of Saraswarnath Secondary School in Sirha Municipality-12 of Sirha District.
Siraha SP Teknanda Iwa Limbu said that the accused office assistant Jayanarayan Mandal was taken into custody on Sunday. According to him, the investigation of the incident has been started after taking a deadline from the court.
It is alleged that 16-year-old Md. Samir Rain, who is studying in class 9, was beaten up by the headmaster, the accountant along with the office helper, and locked him in a room on Tuesday. Rain, who was studying in the class, was called by the office assistant and taken to the staff room. Student Samir said that the room was closed and the headmaster Jaychandra Yadav, accountant Jitendra Yadav, and office assistants were brutally beaten.
According to SP Limbu, the victim's father filed a complaint. He said that other accused in the incident are being searched for. The report has come, we have arrested the office assistant. "We have intensified the search by proceeding with the process of issuing arrest warrants in the name of other accused," SP Limbu said.
Samir, who was injured in the beating, is now resting at home after being treated at the provincial hospital.
According to Mohammad Akbar Mia, the father of the injured student Sameer, Samir has bruises and bruises on his leg from the beating.
