Asia Cup: Sri Lanka bowled out by 50 runs against India in the final

Sep 17, Kathmandu- Sri Lanka were bowled out for 50 runs in the final of the Asia Cup.

After winning the toss against India in the final match at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka batted first and scored only 50 runs in 15.2 overs.

This is the second-lowest total in Sri Lanka's history of one-day internationals. Earlier, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 43 runs against South Africa in 2012.

In this match, Sri Lankan Kusal Mendis scored 17 runs and Dushan Hemantha scored 13 runs, but other batsmen could not score double-digit runs.

Similarly, Indian bowler Mohammad Siraj took 6 wickets to destroy Sri Lanka's batting line. Similarly, Hardik Pandey took 3 wickets and Jasprit Bumrah took one wicket.
