Sep 19, Kathmandu- Mayor Pradeep Kumar Yadav of Rautahat's Boudhimai Municipality has warned that action will be taken if public schools in the city are closed on any pretext.

Mayor Yadav issued a statement today and gave this warning. The meeting of Boudhimai Nagar Education Committee held today has decided to conduct school classes regularly according to the academic calendar. The meeting of the city education committee has also decided not to obstruct education in all the schools within the city area. It has been mentioned in the statement signed by Mayor Pradeep Kumar Yadav that action will be taken according to the rules if there is any unfair action related to teaching.

On the other hand, nine constituents including Rautahat of the Nepal Teachers' Association issued a statement on Monday and called on the teachers to participate in the movement centered on Kathmandu by going on an educational strike in all schools tomorrow on the 3rd.
