Sep 22, Kathmandu- Former Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the existing education system of the country cannot prepare qualified and competent manpower to face the current challenges.
Addressing the 2nd National Convention 2080 of the Federation of Nepal National Industry Professionals, he said that the government should be serious about the education system of Nepal today.
He said, "For this, we must prepare the necessary qualified manpower for today, we must prepare qualified and capable manpower to face today's challenges. The education system is very important for that. Today, teachers are protesting because the local level can fulfill the responsibility of education up to the secondary level, can they think about all aspects, rather than the progress of the school, it can become a situation where they can only think about its use".
He said that now it is necessary to create a document with a new vision based on the year 2050, and to think about the economic recession, trade deficit, and the solution to the problems faced by various sectors.
He said, "Now it is necessary to work on creating a document with a new vision based on the year 2050 in a new way. The second is that we have to move forward in a systematic way to find solutions for the immediate problems of economic recession, trade deficits, and the problems faced by various sectors".
