Sep 25, Kathmandu- The business house Chaudhary Group (CG) is going to introduce Smart Motors brand electric vehicles in the Nepali market. For this, an agreement was reached between the officials of CG and Smart Motors EV last Saturday in China.
Nirwan Chaudhary, Managing Director of CG, in a post on social media, informed that there is a partnership to bring Smart Motors EV in Nepal.
Smart Motors is a joint venture company of the famous German auto company Mercedes Benz. It is said that CG is preparing to bring the first batch of 'Smart #1' (Smart #1) to the Nepalese market soon.
CG is currently expanding Neta, KYC, Kinglong brand EVs in the Nepali market. With the arrival of Smart Motors' EV, the electric vehicle market in Nepal is expected to become more competitive.
The popularity of electric vehicles has recently increased in Nepal due to many advantages including low operating cost, low air pollution, and environmental sustainability.
