Sep 30, Kathmandu- In the World Cultural Festival 2023, which is going to be organized from September 29 to October 1 in the metro area of Washington DC, America, representatives from 180 countries are presenting their original cultures.

Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, the founder and spiritual guru of Art of Living, has brought together different cultures from around the world in a single formula. So far, more than 500,000 participants have joined the program and expressed their solidarity on the importance of cultural diversity scattered around the world.

In this program, different countries will present their country's costumes, dance, music and dishes. 61 dances are being performed with 17,000 performers from 180 countries around the world.

Nepal will also participate in this cultural celebration. 150 artists ranging from 13 to 60 years of age have already arrived in America to participate in the festival.

These dances are directed by renowned dance instructor Yagyaman Shakya and has been training the dance team for the past five months.

This year's 'World Cultural Festival 2023' is the fourth edition, the first edition was held in Bangalore in 2006, and twenty-five lakhs attended.

Similarly, the second edition which was held in Berlin in 2011 had seventy thousand participants and the third edition held in Delhi in 2016 had three million participants.
