Sep 30, Kathmandu- A girl died due to an electric shock while charging her mobile phone. The deceased is 23-year-old Bhumisara Ale of Huspekot rural municipality-2 Gandakhola, east of Nawalpurasi.

According to Police Inspector Gopal Chalise of District Police Office Nawalpurasi East, Ale was electrocuted while charging his mobile phone in the room on Friday evening. Soon after, the family took him to Madhyabindu District Hospital. Chalise informed that the hospital declared him dead at around 8 pm.

"We are going to the hospital first and then going to the incident site," Chalise said, "The incident site is two to three hours away from our office. Only then will more information come out about it."

According to the police, the deceased has a son and a daughter with her husband.
