Oct 01, Kathmandu- Nepal defeated Maldives in T20 cricket.
In the 19th Asian Games (Asiad), Nepali national cricket team defeated Maldives by 138 runs. With this, Nepal has reached the quarterfinals. After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Nepal scored 212 runs losing 7 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. In reply, Maldives lost all wickets and were reduced to 74 runs in 19.4 overs.
Earlier, Nepalle made a huge run of 314 runs against Mongolia and set a record for most runs in T20.
