Oct 02, Kathmandu- The counting of votes for the election of the new leadership of the Karnali province of CPN-UML has started.

Bishnu Rijal, a member of the chairmanship, informed that the counting of votes has started at the city hall. Voting was held on Sunday night for the election of the new leadership in the first session of the UML Karnali Province held in the provincial capital Birendranagar.

Although the counting of votes was supposed to start at eight o'clock in the morning on Monday, it was started a few hours late due to technical preparations. Voting for leadership selection was held from 2 pm to 9 pm on Sunday. 609 people participated in the voting.
