Nov 16, Kathmandu- Released on the occasion of Diwali, Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3 took off with a bang at the box office in India, earning Rs 44.5 crore. The film which earned well in the first three days of its release, saw a 50 percent drop in its earnings on the fourth day.
According to the report of Sacknilk, which gives information about the box office, the film which earned 44 crores on Tuesday, could earn only 22 crores on Wednesday. The movie has so far earned a total of 169.5 crores at the domestic box office and has managed to earn 241.85 crores worldwide.
The movie directed by Manish Sharma was released in more than 4,500 theaters across the country. However, the number of viewers in Delhi-NCR was only 19 percent, and 18.25 percent in Mumbai.
Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi have lead roles in the movie along with Salman Khan. Aditya Chopra is the producer of the movie. It is said to be the most expensive movie of Yash Raj Films. Its total cost is said to be around 300 million rupees.
