Nov 20, Kathmandu- The hearing of the petition filed in the Supreme Court against the government's decision to ban the social media platform TikTok has come to the bench of Judge Kumar Chudal.
10 different writs filed by senior advocate Dinesh Tripathi and others are going to be heard simultaneously. Recently, after the government banned the social networking site TikTok, on November 1st, all the petitions filed in the Supreme Court were put together and heard for today.
In the writ petition, an interim order has been requested to cancel the government's decision and allow TikTok to run in its original condition. It has also been mentioned in the writ that the decision of the government is illegal and unconstitutional, malicious and arbitrary.
