Nov 27, Kathmandu- With the support of the Government of India, the building of Gautam Buddha Secondary School in Buddhabhumi Municipality of Kapilvastu has been inaugurated.
Prasanna Srivastava, Deputy Head of the Indian Embassy in Nepal, Baburam Acharya, Head of District Coordination Committee Kapilvastu, and Keshav Kumar Shrestha, Head of Buddhabhumi Municipality, inaugurated the school building, which was built with the help of the Government of India, under the 'Nepal-India Development Cooperation'.
According to the Indian Embassy in Nepal, the grant from the Government of India was used for the construction of school and laboratory buildings and the purchase of furniture and laboratory equipment. Under the agreement between the Government of Nepal and India, this project, previously known as Small Development Project, has been developed as a High Impact Community Development Project.
