Nov 27, Kathmandu- Smartguff, a social networking site where you can earn money, has started its service. Smartguff App Pvt Ltd has introduced this app to give money to the user based on the views received on the video.

"Normal users spend their days using Facebook and Instagram. But at the end of the day, their time is just wasted," said Ramesh Shahi, the company's chief executive officer (CEO), "but everyone who uses Smartguff can earn money through their posts. Every comment, share, and engagement has a different meaning on Smartguff.”

According to CEO Shahi, the company will give 15 rupees for every 1000 views. But to withdraw this amount, it is said that a minimum of 100 rupees must be deposited in the profile.

He said that the accumulated money can be withdrawn four times per month. "If a user has more than 100 rupees in his/her account, he/she can request a withdrawal by sending the user name and Nepali bank account details to the given email. The money will arrive in their account within 48 hours of office hours. But this facility will be available only for Nepali citizens", he said.

According to CEO Shahi, the company will share the income to give money to users based on views. For this, ads and live sections will be added to the app soon.

Shahi also said that things like nudity and profanity have been completely banned to make the app civil.

At a glance, the interface of this app looks similar to TikTok and Instagram. Because you can post photos along with short videos in the app. After the government banned TikTok in Nepal, some are even presenting this app as an alternative to it.

However, the company itself has said that its app is not an alternative to TikTok. "Smartguff was released before the government closed Tiktok in Nepal. We no longer think that it is an alternative to TikTok,” he further said, “We have introduced this platform to change the situation where users only get 'likes' as a reward."

However, he said that the chat feature to communicate between users will not be brought to the app. However, the company is planning to add other features that will be useful in the future.

This app made in minimalistic design can now be used on Android and the web. It is said that it will come to iOS after some time.
