Nov 28, Kathmandu- The staging of a play called 'Ek Chihan' has started in Pokhara. The staging has been started since Tuesday. It was staged through a special show on Monday itself. It has been staged as a booking show since Tuesday.
The director Parivartan informed that the play, which is aimed at students, will be staged at the Gandharva Theater of Pokhara Theater until the 6th of Paush. Ek Chihan is a novel written by writer Hriday Chandra Singh Pradhan. Pradhan's novel 'Ek Chihan' has been included in the compulsory Nepali of class 11 and 12 by Curriculum Development Center.
In this drama depicting the life of the poor, peasants, and working class of Nepal, the family situation of the Newari community is shown in an environment of poverty and constraint. The novel Ek Chihan has been changed into a drama and a change of direction. Haridevi Koirala's Asare song is also included in the drama co-directed by Anju Dahal.
