Dec 01, Kathmandu- Actor Khagendra Lamichhane's debut directorial film 'Pani Photo' has been released in Nepali OTT platform app cinemas. The producer brought the film to the digital audience on Friday.
Last year, the film released in theaters on Shrawan 13 earned an average. Lamichhane hopes that digital viewers will prefer the film on OTT. He has also acted in this film, while Anup Baral, Menuka Pradhan, Malika Mahat, Prakash Ghimire, Maotse Gurung, Buddhi Tamang, Radha Shrestha, and Kamalmani Nepal are acting.
The film tells the story of a couple who went out to search for their son who disappeared during the war. The film produced by Tuki Arts and Manjushree Films is made under the banner of Tuki Arts.
Lamichhane has made a film based on a play that was staged at Arohan Gurukul a decade ago. Lamichhane says that every producer has a different style of telling a story. The story that is told in Paniphoto is the story of the Bhuinmanche, which is deeply rooted in my heart. It is the story of thousands of people who died with the light of hope in their eyes hoping that their lost relatives will come," he said.
Earlier, films like Jai Bhole, Kabaddi 4, Mahapurush, Jaari have been released in the theatres. Films available on this platform can be watched by paying money from Nepali digital wallet and from abroad through Google Pay, PayPal, debit-credit card, and also direct payment can be made from Google Play.
