Dec 01, Kathmandu- A verdict is about to come in sometime on whether those arrested in the case of fake Bhutanese refugees will be released or remain in prison.
It is said that the decision is likely to be made today as the counterargument has been completed with the demand that former Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand, who is currently imprisoned in the case, should be released from prison.
In the counterarguments in the court, the lawyers on behalf of Khand and other prisoners have demanded that they be freed from prison and prosecuted.
Along with this, the judgment is about to come in some time in the case of former home minister Khand, who is also the leader of the Nepali Congress, who is currently in prison in the case of defrauding Nepali citizens of more than 28 crores by making them fake Bhutanese refugees.
The decision to come today will determine whether Khand and others will remain in prison or sit outside and try the case. The high court is crowded now.
