Dec 02, Kathmandu- Chairman of CPN-UML KP Sharma Oli has said that it is the need of the day to protect sovereign power, independence, freedom, and geographical integrity.

President Oli said this while offering garlands and flowers to Amar Singh Thapa's statue at Amargadhi in Dadeldhura during the party's Mahakali (Mechi) campaign on Friday. He said that the sovereign power, independence and freedom of the country built by warriors like Amar Singh Thapa should be protected as well as its geographical integrity and move towards a prosperous Nepal and a happy Nepali. He said that every citizen should think of his country before himself.

President Oli also said that Amar Singh Thapa is respected by all Nepalese.
