Hamas Ceasefire Offer Rejected By Netanyahu

Feb 08, Kathmandu- Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected Hamas' proposal for a cease-fire. He categorically rejected the terms of the proposal saying that a complete victory in Gaza is possible within a few months.

Netanyahu's statement came after Hamas also put demands one after the other in response to the Israeli-backed ceasefire proposal. He said that there has been no progress in the talks with Hamas and that the conditions he has set are absurd. Talks are going on between the two parties.

But the negotiations have not been completed yet. "There is no solution other than a complete and final victory", Netanyahu said at a press conference on Wednesday. Hamas on Tuesday clarified its terms of the cease-fire proposal. It consisted of three stages of proposals.
