Feb 09, Kathmandu- The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has filed a case against a ward president. The commission has filed a case against Nripesh Bade, the ward chairman of Banepa municipality ward number 9 of Kavre.

Ward president Bade demanded a bribe/receipt from the service recipient to recommend the route to the house. A team deputed by the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority, Tangal, arrested him when he had already taken 1.5 million rupees of bribes/extortion from the service provider.

A charge sheet has been filed against him, who was arrested on January 03, in the special court in Kathmandu. Bade has been asked for an amount equal to 15 lakh rupees.
