9th Japanese Language Speech Competition Concluded

Feb 11, Kathmandu- The ninth 'Japanese Language Speech Contest' has been completed. The Japanese Language School Association of Nepal (JALSAN) has organized the competition to promote the Japanese language, culture and educational system in Nepal.

Ravina Gole won the first place in the competition held in Kathmandu on Saturday. Attending Misaki Japanese & Int'l Language Education Centre, she received the first prize laptop and shield.

Similarly, Aayush Kansakar became second from Hakuho Japanese Language School. He received the tavlit and the shield. Similarly, Paras Mani Dahal from Sagarmatha Japanese Language Institute won the third position. She got the mobile. Apart from this, consolation prizes and certificates were also distributed to the participants.

12 students from 12 institutions providing various Japanese language and academic counselling participated in the competition. Ramesh Devkota, president of Jalsan, said that the oratory competition was organized to improve the speaking ability of students who are preparing to go to Japan for higher education and to have complete knowledge about the Japanese language, art culture, tradition and educational system.
