Home Minister Dissatisfied With The Release Of Arun Chaudhary

Feb 11, Kathmandu- Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha has publicly expressed his displeasure over the court's order to release industrialist Arun Chaudhary in 'present custody'. Shrestha expressed such dissatisfaction while replying to the meeting of the State Affairs Committee of the Parliament on Sunday.

"The court ordered that the investigation be completed within two days, and no court in history had given such an order." In the meeting, he said - "But, we agree. Shrestha said that even though the accused in the 10-ropani land scam case of Bansbari was dropped, the government did not drop the case". He said - "Although the accused is out, the investigation is going on."
