Feb 11, Kathmandu- A person has been arrested for murdering a woman in a hotel located in Bijay Chowk, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-9.

A team from District Police Complex, Kathmandu and Police Circle, Gaushala arrested a man from Dolakha house. The name of the arrested person has not been released by the police. On Saturday evening, the body of 28-year-old Pramila Damai was found. The hotel owner informed the police that the dead body was found when the door was opened with another key, suspecting that the customer might have left the room without paying since the room had been locked for at least two days.

Soon after, the police circle, Gaushala team was found at the spot. In the process, the dead body of the woman was found on the bed and a rope was also found nearby. However, when the dead body was found inside after closing the door from the outside, the incident was seen as suspicious. The staff of Siraha Dhanusha Hotel and Lodge, where the body was found, said that the woman had gone to the hotel with a man. On that basis, the person staying with him in the hotel was arrested from New Baneshwor area.
