Bill To Amend The Assets Laundering Act Unanimously Approved

Feb 12, Kathmandu- The proposal to consider the bill, 2079 to amend some laws related to the prevention of money laundering and promotion of business environment has been unanimously approved by the National Assembly.

In the National Assembly meeting held today, the Chairman of the National Assembly, Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, presented a proposal for consideration of the Bill, 2079 to amend some laws related to the prevention of money laundering and promotion of business environment. The proposal was unanimously approved by the members. Chairman Timilsina announced that the proposal to consider the bill, 2079 to amend some laws related to prevention of money laundering and promotion of business environment was unanimously approved.

Chairman Timilsina said that the members who want to propose amendments to the Bill, 2079 to amend some laws related to prevention of money laundering and promotion of business environment, can register the amendment proposal in the bill branch under the National Assembly by Rule 106 of the National Assembly Rules, 2075.
