Feb 25, Kathmandu- During the monitoring of waste management by health institutions conducted by the Environmental Management Department of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, the waste collection of 4 hospitals has been stopped today.

Sarkardeep Shrestha, the engineer in charge of the landfill site informed that the waste collection of Sahid Memorial Hospital and Nepal National Hospital in Kalanki area, Dirghayu Guru Hospital & Research Center and Om Hospital in Chawhil has been stopped. Hospitals in Kalanki area were monitored last Friday and hospitals in Chabahil area were monitored today.

Earlier, garbage collection of the Kanti Children's Hospital in Maharajganj was banned.
