Feb 26, Kathmandu- Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has separated the grades of cricket players. CAN has allocated grades of 30 players for men and 19 for women. The salary of male players divided into five categories namely A, B, C, D and Emerging category has also been raised to one lakh.
The secretary of CAN, Paras Khadka, has informed that the monthly salary of male players belonging to A will be one lakh. Similarly, 70,000 monthly salary has been fixed for B players, 55,000 for C players, 35,000 for D players and 25,000 for emerging categories.
On the men's side, A's captains are Rohit Paudel, Sompal Kami, Karan KC, Dipendra Singh Airi, Asif Sekh and Kushal Bhurtel, while in group B, Kushal Malla, Gulshan Jha, Bhim Sarki, Lalit Narayan Rajwanshi, Aarif Sheikh and Abhinash Bohra.
Similarly, In group C, Binod Bhandari, Arjun Saud, Sandeep Zora and Pratis GC are there while D has Pawan Sarraf, Sagar Dhakal, Anil Shah, Bibek Kumar Yadav, Akash Chand, Basir Ahmed and Surya Tamang. Similarly, Dipesh Kandel (Koshi), Rupesh Singh (Madhesh), Rijan Dhakal (Bagamati), Bipin Khatri (Gandaki), Dev Khanal (Lumbini), Arjun Gharti (Karnali) and Hemanta Dhami (Sudur Paschim) are also in the emerging categories.
