Indian Singer Pankaj Udhas Passes Away

Feb 26, Kathmandu- Indian singer Pankaj Udhas has passed away.

He died on Monday at the age of 72. The news of his demise was given by his son Naib through social media. Pankaj was ill for a long time.

According to the Indian media Times of India, he died at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai at 11 am on Monday.

He was born on 17 May 1951 in Jetpur, Gujarat. He was the youngest of his three brothers. He was interested in singing from an early age.

He released his first ghazal album in 1980 named 'Aahat'. Which was well-liked by the audience. He received the Padma Shri award in 2006.
