Feb 26, Kathmandu- The police have arrested 5 people with about 24 Kg and 560 grams of the illegal drug hashish.

Among those arrested are Seti Tamang, 59, who lives in Dhading Khaniabas Rural Municipality-5, Regdon Tamang of 66, 40-year-old Thal Bahadur Roka, resident of Salyan Siddakumakh Rural Municipality-4, 52-year-old Sang Jom Tamangni, who lives in Dhading Khaniabas Rural Municipality-5 and 37-year-old Bhavna Budha who lives in Rukum Bhume Rural Municipality-2.

The police stationed from Krishnanagar Municipality-2 Lingate, who were traveling from Nepal to India, seized 5 kg 555 grams from Seti Tamang, 5 kg 365 grams from Regdon Tamang, 4 kg 615 grams from Thal Bahadur and 5 kg 480 grams from Sang Jom.

Also, during further investigation, after it was revealed that Bhawana Budha was also involved, she was found by the police in Krishnanagar Municipality-1 Shivanagar with 3 kg 545 grams of what looked like hashish.
