Binocular Method Surgery Completed At Bheri Hospital

Dr. Krishna Mohan Adhikari, Consultant Gastro Hepatobiliary and Laparoscopy Surgeon of the hospital said that 40-year-old Shantram Kewat of Banke, who had a hole in his intestine, was operated on for the first time using the binocular method. According to him, Kewat was treated for the first time through the binocular method, while the body of a patient with a hole in the intestine is being cut open in the hospital.

50-year-old Man Kumari Chaudhary of Ghorahi sub-metropolitan ward No. 11 Ganeshpur Dang, who was born with swollen bile ducts, has also been operated on. Chaudhary's body was cut open and operated, Dr. Adhikari said. He informed that, although patients with cholecystitis are being operated upon after birth, this is the first time in the hospital that a patient with congenital cholecystitis has been operated upon.

According to the hospital, the team of Dr. Santosh Sirpaili, Dr. Bidhan Paudel and Dr. Qamar Hasan Ansari under the leadership of Dr. Krishna Mohan Adhikari, consultant gastro-hepatobiliary and laparoscopy surgeon of the hospital, performed the surgery.
