Mar 31, Kathmandu- The applications of 17 people have been approved for the post of Vice-Chancellor of the Purbanchal University.

A call for applications was made on 23rd Magh last, demanding a vice-chancellor. Out of which 18 people have applied, 1 person has been rejected. The selection and recommendation committee formed to recommend names for the appointment of vice-chancellor has approved the applications of 17 people today. Shubnarayan Pathak, Anil Kumar Pokhel, Jeevan Kumar Dhakal, Ashok Kumar Jha, Guru Prasad Khanal, Pramod Kumar Jha, Bijukumar Thaplia, Binod Parajuli, Devi Prasad Bhattarai, Raj Narayan Yadav, Narendra Katuwal, Umesh Koirala, Sanjesh Prasad Koirala, Rajkumar Pokhrel, Resham Bahadur Thapa, Ramesh Prasad Bhattarai will be accepted and Maheshraj Dahal.

Time has also been given for the presentation of thinking papers and professional action plans on Chaitra 27th, 28th and 29th according to the order of those whose applications have been accepted.
