Russia-Ukraine War Protesters: Fifteen People Arrested from Singha Durbar

Apr 01, Kathmandu- Fifteen people who protested today in front of the south gate of Singha Durbar, demanding the protection of the lives of Nepalese serving in the Russian army, were arrested.

The spokesperson of District Police Complex Kathmandu and Superintendent of Police Nawraj Adhikari informed that those who were protesting in front of Singha Durbar under the leadership of awareness campaign activist Kritu Bhandari were arrested. Among those arrested are 10 men and five women. They have been kept in police circle Singha Durbar.

They protested demanding to bring back the bodies of those who lost their lives joining the Russian army, search for those who have no contact and rescue stranded Nepalese.
