Apr 02, Kathmandu- The chairman of the Nagarik Unmukti Party, Ranjita Shrestha, has expelled Gandaki Province chairman Rajan Gurung and Bagmati Province chairman Deep Bahadur Yonjan Tamang from the party.
Chairman Shrestha has sent a letter expelling Gurung and Tamang from the party. They were expelled for beating and indecently behaving with the founding central members of the party, Ramlal Dagaura Tharu and Ramesh Bishwakarma. Lately, when the dispute between Resham and Ranjita about which equation to join in the Far West has flared up, civil liberties are now on the verge of collapse.
Chairman Ranjita is in favor of joining the newly formed power equation from the union to the state, while her husband Resham Chaudhary, who is a guardian, is in favor of the Congress-led government in Far West. During this dispute, hands were shaken in the meeting held on Monday.
