Apr 02, Kathmandu- The police have arrested the owner of the restaurant on the charge of forcing minors into prostitution.

The arrested person is 23-year-old Navin Kumar Magar, resident of Balaju, Udaipur Udaipurgarhi Rural Municipality-6, Kathmandu.

A police team deputed from Human Trafficking Bureau Babarmahal arrested Magar on the basis of information that girls were being forced into prostitution through various threats and temptations at a restaurant named 'Shitilafa' in Balaju, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-16.

Besides, the police also rescued a girl from the said restaurant.

According to the police, the police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard after obtaining permission from the District Court of Kathmandu for 5 days in the case of human trafficking and trafficking against him.
