Detained Maoist Leader Kham Being Shifted To Chitwan Today

Apr 02, Kathmandu- CPN (Maoist Centre) leader Kali Bahadur Kham, who was arrested on murder charges, is going to be sent to Chitwan today. Today (Tuesday) he was arrested from Thamel in Kathmandu. He is accused of being involved in the murder of Ramhari Shrestha, a businessman from Kathmandu-32 Koteshwar.

Kham, who was missing from the fugitive list for the past 15 years, was arrested by the police today. It is said that a team with an envelope kidnapped Shrestha from his residence Koteshwar and took him to Chitwan to kill him. The body of deceased Shrestha was found in Narayani river on 28 Baisakh 2065.
