Traffic Through Tatopani Customs Increased, Revenue Collection Exceeded Target

Apr 18, Kathmandu- In nine months of the current financial year, Customs Office in Tatopani has collected more revenue than the target.

Customs chief Dayanand KC informed that the target of collecting 5.59 billion rupees in the current financial year has been collected so far 8.56 billion rupees.

He said that the trade has increased after the opening of the border crossing. He says that the movement of people has been increasing recently.

He said that despite the recent increase in business activity at this customs point, there has been no improvement in infrastructure including roads.
