UML Calls Deuba In Celebration Of Diamond Festival Of The Establishment Of CPN

Apr 19, Kathmandu- On the occasion of completion of 75 years of establishment of CPN, the ruling CPN (UML) is organizing Hirak Mahotsav.

UML Secretary Yogesh Bhattarai informed that Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba has been invited to the Mahotvas to be held at Sunrise Hall in Godawari on 10th Baisakh.

According to him, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', former prime ministers Madhav Kumar Nepal, president of Unified Samajwadi Party, respected leader Jhalnath Khanal, Baburam Bhattarai, president of Nepal Samajwadi Party have been invited to the diamond festival.

He said that Janata Samajwadi Party President Upendra Yadav, Janata Samajwadi Party President Mahant Thakur, Nepal Communist Party General Secretary Netra Vikram Chand and CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) General Secretary Mohan Vaidya have also been invited, he said.

"This time we are organizing a special ceremony. As the program is going to be organized on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the CPN, the heads of active political parties and heads of government have been invited, he said.

Meanwhile, the CPN (UML) is organizing a meeting of the Congress Representative Council from Saturday. Two thousand 500 delegates will participate in the program to be held at Sunrise Hall in Godavari.

About 2200 delegates participated in the tenth congress of UML. All of them will participate in the convention representative council meeting. In addition, there will be 2,500 representatives as members of the central body.

Six documents will be presented in the council meeting which will last until Sunday.
