Apr 20, Kathmandu-Scientists have claimed to have built the world's largest digital camera of 3,200 megapixels so far.

According to various reports, the name of the camera has been given as 'LSST'. which will be placed at the Vera C. Rubin Observatory in the South American country of Chile. Along with the study of space, this camera is expected to help reveal other mysteries of the universe. This camera has been manufactured for about 20 years.

Scientists have expected this camera to take HD pictures of space. Scientists claim that this camera will help in studying dark matter, dark energy, sky, Ganges and solar system. The camera was built by LSF NoirLab with the support of the US National Science Foundation and the US Department of Energy. According to Jelko Ivezic, a professor at the University of Washington, the camera will take great pictures along with new videos from space.
