Apr 23, Kathmandu- Jhapa Rural Municipality of Jhapa has provided scholarships to 30 students.

Scholarships have been awarded to 630 people studying in classes 11 and 12 of the three community schools of the rural municipality. The village municipality has provided scholarships at the rate of 9,650 to students of class 11, 11,200 to students of class 12 and 12,000 to students of technical education.

56 students of Janakalyan High School, 352 students of Dilliraj High School and 222 students of Janata High School, where class 11 and 12 are taught, have been given scholarships from the budget allocated through the policies and programs of the rural municipality. There are 21 community schools, 14 institutional schools and 18 madrassas in Jhapa rural municipality.
