One Died In The Accident, 3 Seriously Injured

Apr 25, Kathmandu- One person was killed and 3 others were injured when 2 speeding motorcycles collided in Birganj on Thursday. The deceased is 25-year-old Arjun Patel of Birgunj Metropolitan City-25. 2 out of 3 injured are minors.

At around 10:40 AM, On Birganj-25 Mauje Sirsia road section, motorcycle No. 18 P 9816 coming from Sirsia towards Dryport and motorcycle No. 31 P 3835 going from Dryport to Sirsia collided with each other.

Motorcycle no. Na 31 P 3835 driver Arjun Patel, 25 years old was seriously injured. After being referred by Narayani Hospital, he was taken to Birganj Health Care Hospital for further treatment, where doctors declared him dead. Another 20-year-old local, Akash Patel, who was riding behind the motorcycle, was seriously injured.

The driver of motorcycle No. 18 P 9816, Kanaiya Chartuvedi, 15-year-old son of Niraj Chartuvedi of the same place, and Sama Patel, 15-year-old son of another local Madan Patel, were also injured. DSP Kumar Bikram Thapa, spokesperson of Parsa Police, informed that the other three injured have been admitted to the National Medical College for further treatment.
