Apr 27, Kathmandu- The by-election of Ilam-2 is currently ongoing.

Voting started from 7 am. It is said that peaceful polling is going on in the district. Speaking after voting, CPN-UML candidate Suhang Nemwang responded that he was feeling excited. Recalling that he came with his father a year and a half ago for the election, he said that the situation of the election made him emotional. He asserted that he is confident that he will win with the love shown by the voters in the house-to-house program.

There are 19 candidates in the election field for the member of the House of Representatives in Ilam Region No. 2. Voting continues in 149 polling stations of 79 polling stations. There are 1 lakh 15 thousand 879 voters in Ilam 2 which has 42 wards. Among these voters, 422 new voters were added.
