UML's Bhandari Leads By Double The Votes In Bajhang

Apr 28, Kathmandu- In Bajhang State Assembly - 1 (1), UML has made a wide lead in the counting of votes. UML candidate Daman Bahadur Bhandari got 1303 votes after counting the votes of Wards 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Chabispathivera Rural Municipality.

His competitor Abhishek Singh of Nepali Congress is trailing with 656 votes. Bhandari and Singh have a difference of 647 votes. Similarly, Janak Budha of the Maoist Center got 402 votes while Dil Bahadur Singh of the United Socialist Party got 369 votes.

30 thousand three hundred 28 members of the provincial assembly fell in the by-election in Bajhang Provincial Assembly (1). After the death of Prithvi Bahadur Singh, who was elected from Bajhang Provincial Assembly 1 (1), on Asadha 5, a by-election was held on the vacant seat on 15 Baisakh 2081.
