Stock Market NEPSE Index Rose By 14 Points On The Excitement Of The Investment Conference

Apr 28, Kathmandu- As the third investment conference started in Kathmandu from Sunday, its positive impact has been seen in the stock market since then. On the first day of the investment conference, which is also the first trading day of the week, the NEPSE index increased by 14.33 points and reached 1980.27 points.

Similarly, since today, the sensitive index of 'A' class has increased by 2.62 points to 350.80 points, according to the Nepal Stock Exchange. Today, 6 million 878 thousand shares worth 2 billion 682 million 586 thousand rupees were traded in the secondary market. Apart from trading group sub-indices, 12 sub-indices have turned positive today.

The sub-index of finance group has increased the most by 3.98 percent, while today the sub-index of development bank group has increased by 2.23 percent and microfinance by 1.40 percent. Similarly, while the sub-index of non-life insurance increased by 1.06 percent today, the sub-index of other groups increased by 1 percent less. On the other hand, the sub-index of the trading group has decreased by 0.34 percent today.

Today, the share price of Pokhara Finance Company increased by 9.02 percent, while the price of Rivers Falls Power Limited decreased by 4.63 percent.
