Apr 30, Kathmandu- CPN-UML candidate Suhang Nemwang has won in Ilam-2. He got 27 thousand 772 votes.
His nearest competitor, Dambar Bahadur Khadka of the Nepali Congress, got 21 thousand 942 votes. Nemwang trailed Khadka by a margin of 5830 votes.
Independent candidate Dekendra Singh Thegim came third with 11 thousand 457 votes among 19 candidates. Similarly, Milan Limbu, the candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, received only 5,000 votes.
